Hi there! 👋🏼 I'm Hye-Min Kim, a Korean-American ceramicist and product designer from the SF Bay Area.
After quitting my recruiting job, getting married right before the pandemic, and then moving out to the Midwest so that my husband could start medical school, I decided to take a ceramics class. I had no idea I'd immediately fall in love with it, join a local studio, and launch my own small business just a few months later.
I am inspired by my Korean heritage and minimalist forms to create modern, one-of-a-kind ceramics. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques and seek to honor how we are sustained by our everyday rituals, from drinking coffee to serving banchan to loved ones.
