Hi there 👋🏼 I'm Hye-Min Kim, a Korean-American ceramicist, product designer from the SF Bay Area.
In 2020, I quit my recruiting job, got married right before the pandemic, and moved out to the Midwest so that my husband could start medical school. That Fall, I decided to take a ceramics class for something to do during the pandemic and the rest is history!
I draw inspiration from my Korean heritage to create modern, one-of-a-kind ceramics. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques and seek to honor how we are sustained by our everyday rituals, from drinking coffee to serving banchan to loved ones.
